Following up on this post…

Joey was hell-bent to get a tattoo this week, but didn’t know what. I told him about my butterfly, and we decided to get it next to the birth mark we both share with mom. We opted for brown, because it matches our hair and eyes.
Mom’s response: “$42.70? That’s it?” …and then proceeded to say that she’d get it done too if she didn’t need to spend forty-two dollars on bird seed.
I like the composition of THIS photograph better, but mom got Joey’s head reflected in the window. Shame on her, you know? She’s actually a photographer.
Also, HERE is a closeup of Joey’s tattoo. And goosebumps. God, I love having a digital camera.
So yeah. Here’s to us being two incomplete parts of a whole.
I love that. It’s wonderful. =]
